Flower Arrangement Volunteer

The power of flowers is so beneficial for patients who are dying. Help to spread the joy by becoming a Flower Arrangment Volutneer. There are two ways in which you can serve:

Volunteers responsible for pick-uping up donated flowers from Trader Joe's, Bay Shore Mall, and arranging the flowers at our Brown Deer office. These beautiful bouquets, created by you, will then be delivered to patients and families by our in-home hospice team. You may also display bountyiful, colorful vases in our Grief Resource Center. Volunteers can serve weekday mornings from 8:30 - 11:30am.

Horizon has also partnered with 'Petals for Patients,' a local business that reaches out to brides & grooms for floral donations. When there is a donation, volunteers receive an email regarding the date and necessary information to assist with flower arrangements at our Mequon In-Patient Unit.
