The Hospice Companion

Hospice Companions serve at our Hospice Residence, located at Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon. Any volunteer who has participated in this capacity will tell you this role is a reminder of 'how to live life to the fullest.' You will have the opportunity to support someone during their final stages of life, hear their stories and serve in one of the most rewarding ways imaginable.

Pending your comfort level and skill set, you will also have an opportunity to assist nurses with feeding & positioning patients, assemble charts, answer phones and comfort families visiting their loved ones. You will enjoy serving along side of our incredible team of nurses and volunteers each week.

We are seeking support every day from 8am - 8pm.  Please consider offering your time and talent as a Hospice Companion.
