Grief Resource Ambassador

Offering the only walk-in bereavement facility in the state of Wisconsin, Horizon serves over 100 individuals each month.  With reliable, compassionate volunteers helping to staff the Grief Resource Center (GRC), our bereavement team can reach out to more individuals in the community experiencing loss & grief. 

Grief Resource Ambassadors are trained to provide outstanding customer service to guests, assist with a variety of projects, and keep the center warm and welcoming.  In this role, volunteers serve 1-3 hours a week.  Grief Resource Center Ambassadors feel needed, appreciated and respected in this service role.

The Grief Resource Center is open weekdays (12 - 6pm) & Saturdays (9am - 1pm).
