Meals on Wheels - Meals on Wheels drivers volunteer to deliver meals one to several days per week during the lunch hour. Patients receive nutritious meals and a smile from their Meals on Wheels driver.

Hospice - Our Hospice program volunteers have a significant impact on patients' lives at a critical time of their life. Our Hospice volunteers provide companionship, run errands and give family members breaks from caring for the patient.

Grief Resource Center - Grief Center volunteers are needed to answer phones, greet visitors, survey grief services, and enter updated data in computer system.  Those individuals with specialized training may assist counselors with grief support.

Clerical Functions - Office volunteers help our office staff complete tasks that cannot be accomplished in the normal course of business.

Special Events – Throughout the year Horizon hosts special events focused on fundraising, community awareness and community service. Volunteers are essential to making these events run smoothly and successfully. Opportunities include the flu clinic, Matters of the Heart gala and more.
